Waddles Cowl Pattern

$6.00

Description of pattern: This simple, mitered cowl allows the knitter to use small bits of hand painted yarn or combine several solids to play with color. It’s like a coloring book that you can wear!

Waddles was designed to work with the Dinner Party series of yarns dyed by cjkoho Designs based on work by Judy Chicago celebrating the accomplishments of women in history, although it will look lovely in any DK weight yarn.

It is named for Charleszetta (Mother) Waddles whose mission was to “feed the hungry and clothe the naked.” Mother Waddles began the mission in her home, growing over time to serve more than 90,000 people annually. Once you’ve made a cowl for yourself or someone you love, I’ll bet Mother Waddles would be thrilled if you made another to donate to someone in need. They work up so quickly, you might want to make two or three!
